Constructed of a zink alloy, the obverse consisting of a Silesian style German national eagle, clutching a banner in its talons bearing a raised inscription of FR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA) and overlaid by a silvered Brustmond, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 31. 35 mm (w) x 41. 10 mm (h), weighing 17. 9 grams, with loss of finish evident, in near
